Stenner Pit-less Radial Arm Resaws
In the past large band resaws were installed with a pit in the floor to accommodate the bottom pulley and extraction. The modern Stenner ST range of resaws do not require a pit for installation which in turn provide an added advantage of efficient waste extraction.
The full range are equipped with pneumatic saw strain, high precision factory set guides, and are of modern design and construction to meet the heavy duty demands of today’s sawmills and large joinery companies.
The RB uses the same 100mm wide saw blades and 915mm diameter cast iron wheels that the ST100R and RS models use whist being priced at a level to appeal across a wide spectrum of timber users. It also shares the same capacity and build quality but has manual controls to the feed and fence, making it ideal for the smaller sawmill or joiners’ shop.
The model R features an automatic feed system that recognises when timber is offered against the fence and engages the feed rollers – a valuable time saving feature when working with timber of varying widths. Heavy-duty cast-iron pulleys, pneumatic saw straining and variable feed speed is supplemented with HMI control unit for management of fence position readout, feed speed, timber sensor on/off switch and emergency stop button.
The RS incorporates several key features to provide even more productivity for processing heavy sections and exotic hardwoods. Increased motor power to 18.5 Kw, infinitely variable pulley speed, powered fence movement and intuitive touch screen control mounted on a remote operators control pedestal, with dimension presets, feed speeds, fence position and blade speed control.
